Our customer

A plant manufacturer specialising in the metalworking industry generates a large proportion of its turnover from the spare parts business. Here in particular, payment terms and conditions are often decisive for customer satisfaction – and therefore for the company’s success. The customer base is predominantly in the DACH region.

The task

The company previously offered its customers a 30-day payment term with the option of utilising a discount if payment was made within 10 days. However, the use of discounts declined, customers demanded more payment flexibility and the company itself suffered from fluctuating liquidity.

They were looking for a solution that combined both: longer payment terms for customers and immediate liquidity for the provider.

The solution approach

The plant manufacturer integrated quickpaid directly into its invoice processing.

  • Customers can use a QR code on the invoice to flexibly extend the payment term to up to 120 days.
  • The plant manufacturer receives the invoice amount immediately from quickpaid.
  • The discount can still be utilised – a clear advantage over conventional models.

The entire process runs digitally and requires no additional administrative effort.

The result

Advantages for the plant manufacturer:
  • Immediate liquidity and secure incoming payments
  • Competitive advantage through attractive conditions
  • Stronger customer loyalty and growth potential in the spare parts business
Benefits for customers:
  • More liquidity thanks to flexible payment terms
  • Planning security for larger projects
  • Discount advantages are retained despite later payment
